Crossing Thresholds builds schools in Kenya’s Kibera slum, Africa’s largest slum. Our schools enable children to rise above the burden of food insecurity, the lack of public education, and the threat of hopelessness.  We deliver on our mission by partnering with local community leaders, employing Kenyan teachers, offering daily breakfast and lunch, running a wide range of extra-curricular programs, and bringing dedicated volunteers from across the globe. Together, we provide children of Kibera with the skills and confidence to build a brighter future.​
